CrossFit Kids Summer Camp

CrossFit OP hosts an annual CrossFit Kids Summer Camp to bring health, wellness, fun and fitness to kids of all ages!

This summer, the Camp starts August 17th and runs Monday through Friday until the 21st.

Starting at 9am, Camp members will arrive to CrossFitOP and report to the designated Camp area (in the strength area of the gym).  With the current health and safety standards, they will start with getting their temperature taken, washing their hands, and remaining in their own designated space.  Our goal is to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible while still providing a fun and memorable experience!

Coach Lindsey Bomba, with assistant helpers, will then coach the kids through all sorts of fun, educational exercises for their body and mind.  Including;

  • Anatomy/Biology lessons with a plastic dummy
  • Nutrition lessons for healthy eating habits, including snack time
  • Exercise demonstration
  • Leadership drills
  • Teamwork games
  • Self-confidence boosting activities
  • Obstacle courses
  • Hand-eye coordination drills
  • Speed, agility and balance work
  • Fun, challenging workouts
  • Arts and Crafts
  • American Sign Language
  • Meeting Firefighters/Police Officers
  • So much more!

Participants of this camp will leave the week with a huge sense of accomplishment, a boosted self-esteem for their strengths and abilities, and an understanding on the importance of eating healthy, staying active and being respectful to themselves and others.
