What is your favorite Cheat Meal?

Cheat food, maybe….Any version of potatoes – french fries, tater tots, hashbrowns, mashed, baked.  I can’t stop them, so I have to limit them.

What are the Top 3 most “Frequently Used” Emojis on your phone?

(to congratulate/motivate my friends)

(usually for my kids.)

(I love to laugh.)

When did you start CrossFit and why did you choose OP?

We just moved to VA in Aug-20, and started CFOP in Sept.  Danielle, Diane, and Chas were our first experiences with CFOP, and everyone was so friendly.  We came from a very close box overseas, and CFOP seemed to have the same vibe.

What was your first workout/most memorable workout?

Memorable WOD – Bday WOD for a current CFOP member. It had 2 rope climbs per round. I made it through 6 rounds, I believe … completed more rope climbs in that one WOD than I had ever done before.

What were/are your goals and how has CrossFit and OP helped you accomplish them?

I am slowly working on my squat … I would like to be less quad-dominant, and increase my 1rm a bit.  Roxy has been so much help with accessory work and cues during the WODs.

What are your favorite CrossFit movements and why?

Rope Climb and pull-ups.  I was never able to complete them when tested in school.

What is your proudest CrossFit accomplishment?

Rope Climb and pull-ups.  I was never able to complete them when tested in school.

What’s something memorable you’ve learned at OP from the coaches, the members, or about yourself that you’d like to share with others?!

Coach Roxy – “If your back hurts after deadlifts, you’re probably doing them wrong.”

More from Rayanna:

Big thanks to CFOP and the 530am class for being so welcoming!  Moving across the world and finding “your place” is stressful, but joining CFOP has been a blessing!
