When did you start Crossfit and why did you choose OP?

I started CrossFit in February of this year. I chose OP because of the Google reviews. I also knew Jaz, and she always had good things to say.

What was your first workout/most memorable workout?

I don’t know what the work out was called, but I know it had rope climbs. It was humbling, to say the least.

How has Crossfit and the OP community helped you accomplish your goals?

I’m primarily focused on getting all the movements to do the open RX. Several people stay after the classes and encourage me to work on things, and everyone takes time to suggest tips and cues on the movements.

What are your favorite Crossfit movements & why?
Pull ups – it’s the only bar movement that doesn’t rip my hands

Double unders – they came easily to me

Barbell snatches – I have A LOT of room to improve

What is your proudest Crossfit accomplishment?
I feel pretty accomplished after each metcon. I’ve never been an endurance athlete, so any time I feel that I challenged myself I’m pretty happy.
What’s something memorable you’ve realized or learned while being at OP?
I’ve learned too much about movements and positioning to list. More importantly, I’ve picked up a better attitude about addressing my weaknesses.
